I meant to put this up yesterday, on the occasion of India's Independence Day. It's U Nu (then Thakin Nu) with Mahatma Gandhi at Birla House, Delhi, in December 1947, a little over a month before Gandhi was assassinated. Mahatma Gandhi is wearing the Burmese khamauk U Nu had presented him.
